Mexican Guacamole

Holy Guacamole!

It’s time for some fresh guacamole! Bring out your chip-and-dip serving bowls. This quick and easy to make Mexican dip is the ultimate go-to appetizer. Just make sure your avocados are ripe and you’re good to go. This dip is traditionally served with tortilla chips, but it can also be served with veggie sticks, crackers or bread. The possibilities are endless!

What will I need?

1 cup ripe mashed avocado

1/2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp finely chopped onion
1/4 cup finely chopped tomatoes
1 tsp finely chopped green chillies
1 tsp finely chopped garlic
1tbsp finely chopped coriander
Salt to taste

How is it done?

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Bring out the tortilla chips and some great conversations and enjoy right away. If not serving immediately, press a piece of plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the guacamole to prevent browning and refrigerate, preferably not more than a few hours.

Makes 1 1/2 cups.
